traveling-in-london“Where do you see yourself in 5 years?”

Well, is that the age-old question or what? Quite honestly, I don’t know what’s in store for me tomorrow and definitely not 5 years down the road. Lack of planning one may call it... or a wanderer another would say.

Oh, wanderlust. This magical word can be defined as a very strong or irresistible impulse of desire to travel the world. I don’t know about you, but, when I stay in one place for too long, I get a little antsy. Thus, I have got in the habit of creating lists: to-do lists, bucket lists, travel itineraries of must-sees, what have you. Lists keep me dreaming and it’s a source for my inspiration.

view-from-the-topSo, the next time someone asks you that seemingly dull question, rephrase it to yourself and say: what do you want to accomplish in these next 5 years of your life? What am I going to do and where am I going to go that is going to make these next 5 years the best? Make those bucket lists, scratch off those to-do lists. Life is short, so you mustn't be afraid to dream big.

My one advice: do not let these lists dictate your life. Stay spontaneous and live out of your imagination. Use these lists only as a guide. Stay young, wild and free and you’ll have all those boxes on your bucket list checked in no time!!

What are you waiting for?! Get out there and do something today that your future self will thank you for!
